The Acha Foundation has identified the importance of information technology and the impact this will have on those leaving in such communities if they are provided with the knowledge and tools.

In partnership with other reliable partners, the foundation aims at reducing the information technology gab between those in the most remote areas of any community and the rest of the world, since this group is very often forgotten and considered not ready to benefit from the advantages of information technology.

The Foundation's goals include:

• Creating a new generation of IT experts in the most remote areas of every community
• Make internet accessible to all
• Make every community and school available on the world wide wep to increase their exposure and thus communicate with the rest of the world
• Use IT as an empowering tool
• Assist and faciliate the integration of ICT into school curriculums in the developing countries
• Identify and assist with the implementation of micro projects to the benefit of the communities
• Research and develop new innovative programs for communities
