Schools in the most interior and rural areas of our world can now communicate their challenges with the rest of the world and get the help many badly need, using platforms provided by the foundation.
Many have question our resolve, others have question our capabilities, and some are still to reconcile with the scope of our projects, but the good news is that those we are serving know there are no limits to our desires for them, and this alone is what keeps us moving.
One of our dreams is to see that all schools, irrespective of their remoteness are present on the world wide web. That is one of our immediate goals.
The Acha Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2005. Its main objective is to positively impact the lives of those leaving in disadvantaged communities, by providing them with tools, knowledge and opportunities that will ensure a sustainable future.
The Acha Foundation has identified as one of its key objectives the need to reduce the digital gab between those in such communities and the rest of the world.
In partnership with other reliable partners, the foundation has embarked on a range of projects all aimed at reducing this information technology gab with special focus on countries in the Sub Saharan Africa.
